Course lengths range from 1 year to 2 years. Students may choose according to their needs.
Courses start 4 times a year. All courses end, and graduation takes place, in March.

02.Curriculum

Level appropriate classes for Comprehension, Reading, Conversation, and Writing skills, together with proficiency in “kanji” ensure that each student can participate at his or her correct level.

Class Levels

Comprehension Reading Conversation Writing
Advanced Can follow and understand long conversations, lectures, and news and other commentary on current events. Can read at a reasonable speed and correctly understand written material dealing with a wide variety of subject matter. Can express personal thoughts and opinions through polite communication. Can clearly and smoothly express himself in his own words regarding a wide range of topics.
Lower Advanced Can follow the main points when listening to distinctly spoken TV or radio commentary. Can read at a reasonable speed and understand written material dealing with general subject matter.. Can explain in detail about topics of interest and express opinions on current topics.. Can construct writing to express his ideas sufficiently to be clearly understood by the reader.
Intermediate Can understand short, simple conversation related to everyday activities. Can read and understand written material dealing with daily matters or simple statements. Can speak about experiences and familiar topics and explain thoughts about them. Can convey information regarding familiar topics using connected sentences.
Lower Intermediate Can follow commonly used words related to simple topics. Can read and understand commonly used vocabulary when used in relation to familiar topics. Can converse well enough to have almost no problems in communicating in everyday situations. Can write short, simple sentences on familiar topics.
Beginner Can follow and understand sufficient basic phrases to pursue everyday activities. Can read and understand written material closely related to daily activities. Can converse using greetings and other basic phrases well enough to engage with others in day-to-day situations. Can write appropriately to express the material studied in the classroom.
