01. Administration by Travel Journal Group.
Tokyo Japanese Language & Culture College has been open by Moritani educational foundation based on Travel Journal Publishing which was launched in 1964, the Tokyo Olympics.
Our group also includes three colleges, two of which are leaders in tourism such as travel, hotel in Tokyo. Those colleges are family school and our japanese language school holds an advantageous position for getting a job in the field of tourism.
02. Our school is valuated for pre college visa(1 year).
Our school has been gotten fair evaluation in enrollment management from Tokyo Immigration Office, the Ministry of Justice since founded in 2001. We will go through with our original idea as a educational school while trying our best to do enrollment management continuously.
03. Various cultural exchange
Our students have various opportunity of exchanging with college, university and elementary students. We enjoy meeting with Japanese through diverse class lessons inviting japanese guests, special events for college students in family schools such as speech contest, Yamanote-sen hiking under cover of night college students and special classes which is invited by nearby elementary, middle schools.
04. The bringing up of communication ability by organizing level oriented classes
Students enhance their Japanese communication ability by studying Japanese language, culture and history and so forth step by step in their own level. Our school give circumstances to gain attainments which students can take an active part in the international arena by learning the school principle of hospitality that think and act on putting oneself in another’s place.
05. Life guidance in Japan and academic and career counseling
Our school helps students to have best experience in Japan including housing and life etc., in a concrete and substantial way. We give lots of information and counseling to students who wish to go on to the next stage of education including university, college and our family college. We also prepare for each school's guidance and the entrance requirements resource and are open to our students.
06. School scholarship
Our school award scholarship through comprehensive deciding by the percentage of attendance, an academic record and school activities to students who have studied over 6 month. 12 students receive a scholarship per 6 month (50,000 yen / 1 month for 5 month : total 15,000 yen).
07. Privilege of reduced traffic expenses as a school foundation student
As our school is a school foundation, students can have privilege of traffic expenses of subway and bus during the staying in Japan.
