01. The school established by experts in travel industry
Trajal Hospitality & Tourism College established in 1973 by Travel Journal publishing company of issuing "Weekly Travel" which is representative travel magazine in Japana at the request of related industries is specialized in travel and has brought up persons of talent. Trajal is unique college established by experts in travel industry among many travel colleges and students learns from experts in travel industry. That is to say, our college is excellent choice to be expert in travel industry.
Trajal Hospitality & Tourism College had only travel course early in the establishment but now became a general travel college which has travel, hotel & leisure and airplane & transportation course since 30 years.
Currently 30,000 graduates or so play an active part in travel industry such as travel company, hotel and airline company and they set an example to the world and patronize their juniors.
In addition, our college is unique school for Japanese representative 11 organizations in travel industry to support and recommend and come into close relation with the industry.
PDS system which is ideal learning method.
Our college has special learning method named PDS system. "P" means "plan - the basis", "D" means "DO - practice", "S" means "SEE -review". We have not only a classwork but also have learning method - "P" or "PLAN" - by direct experience which can be acquainted oneself with various service skill to be necessary to work in travel industry by specialized teachers in practical classroom. In addition, Students can participate in the internship of educating more practical ability while gaining experience of practical work in travel industrial field and learning by experts - "DO" - so that they can check again and complement on a point of doubt and their weakness which they realized in internship through class lesson. Our school make it a rule for all students to participate in the internship irrespective of Japanese students and foreign students. Some students can not participate in the internship owing to Japanese ability. This PDS education system is best solution to play an active part in travel industry as a expert.
All the lesson with Japanese students
The foreign students of Trajal Hospitality & Tourism College are 13% of total. The number of foreign students is different according to a school subject but they take a lesson with Japanese students on equal terms. They and Japanese students introduce their own country to each other and form friendly relations regardless of their nationality in ordinary school life. We hope that foreign students enjoy in school life and an exchange of students including Japanese students.
The reduction of school fee for foreign students
Foreign students in entire major reduce school fee instead of scholarship. In addition, our school give the scholarship of Trajal college to brilliant students which is a good example to others in a school record and school life attitude. Even our college students obtain qualifications for Japan Ministry of Education scholarship. There is a system for foreign students who want to learn travel industry in Japan but are concern about school fee.
